WEYAUWEGA, Wis. (WBAY) - On North Mill Street in Small Town Weyauwega, you’ll find an artistic reflection of the community’s rich past.

“This is definitely the biggest project we’ve taken on,” said Brad Leonhardt with the Weyauwega Historical Society. “This is where Weyauwega was originated, right here.”

The project Brad is referring to is a silo, decorated in history, that’s receiving a fresh coat of paint.

“There’s so many people that come through and want to talk and compliment it,” Brad said, giving Small Towns a firsthand look at the process. “The 150th anniversary of Weyauwega was being celebrated, and they wanted to do something to show the history of Weyauwega, which is why they decided to paint a mural on the silo.”
