YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Here we go again. The hot weather is back in the forecast as we move into the weekend and through next week.
It has been a hot summer. The 90°F or higher days are starting to stack up. So far this summer, the official number of 90°F or higher days is up to 10! There were two streaks of 90°F or higher days. One took place in June and another in July. The current forecast is for another to take place into next week.

Looking at streaks of 90°F or higher days through history, you will find that streaks of three or four days are not common, but they are not extremely rare.
So far this summer, we have one streak of four days of 90°F or higher, from June 22-25. We also had a streak of three days in July. It lasted from July 5-7.
