BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A woman who was arrested in Bismarck for child neglect was back in court on Thursday afternoon.
A judge in Burleigh County agreed to lower the bond for Angel Bratten from $5,000 to $2,500. Bratten is currently waiting to go to trial in two cases for felony child neglect. Bratten previously had her bond revoked.
In the latest incident on Sunday, police in Bismarck found two children outside a mobile home who they say may not have been fed or cleaned for around 16 hours.
In a court filing this week, Bratten was told she may only communicate with the children through human service zone workers.
Bratten's first trial is scheduled to happen on September 17 in Bismarck.
