SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Safety Talanoa Hufanga joked two weeks at Broncos Park that he wanted to fight massive 49ers tackle Trent Williams. The joking continued Thursday in person.
The 6-foot, 200-pound Hufanga walked up the 6-5, 320-pound Williams before a joint practice at the 49ers’ practice facility.
“I jokingly went up to him and started to fake some punches,’’ Hufanga said. “But that’s a big (guy), so you got to stay out of the way.”
It was all part of Hufanga’s return to the Bay Area after he played the past four seasons with San Francisco and then signed as a free agent with the Broncos in March.
