Mahoning Valley - AUSTINTOWN - The Vindys will be returning to Austintown Township Park to headline the third annual Pink Out breast cancer awareness music festival.

Specifically, Vindys members Jackie Popovec, John Anthony and Rick Deak will be on stage to play on Sunday, October 5.

The Pink Out concert is sponsored by Pink Out Mahoning Valley and Pink Out America and, according to their press release, is meant to be a gathering place for victims of breast cancer and their supporters.

Music is set to start at noon, with the rest of the day full of performances and activities. The full musical lineup will be announced closer to the event.

Pink Out encourages festival attendees to bring lawn chairs or blankets, pack food and refreshments and to, of course, wear pink.
