DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man is facing multiple firearms charges after police say he lied on federal forms.

Lavell Dickerson, 22, is charged with 11 counts of felony fraudulent purchase of firearms/ammunition.

According to court records, Dickerson bought 14 guns from QC Pawn on West 3rd Street in Davenport over the last year.

Some of the guns he bought include handguns and assault-style rifles, police said.

Police said he knowingly gave a fake current address and lied about using marijuana on the Federal 4473 form to buy the guns.

Dickerson has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 3 p.m. on August 26.
