CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The four-day Voice of America Country Music Fest kicked off on Thursday, and organizers expect more than 130,000 people to make their way to West Chester Township to watch their favorite musicians take the stage.
Some of those in attendance have been coming year after year, while others are making their first trip to the festival to catch headliners like Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood and Hardy.
“We’ve got people coming, actually coming from Canada, different countries, we’ve got different states, everywhere, but I’d say the main draw is from within this region,” Festival organizer Brian Kitzmiller said.
And whether you are coming from a county or states away, organizers wanted to give attendees a taste of Cincinnati.
