BEDFORD, Pa. (WTAJ) - No one circled the wagons last season like the Bedford Bisons. Bedford finished 10-4 last season with a District V title and a trip to the PIAA quarterfinals.
After graduating nine key seniors, this year may be a bit of a rebuilding season for the Bisons. Their biggest loss is All-State athlete Quincy Swaim, who tallied nearly 3,000 yards between passing and rushing.
"We do not have any more Swaims now, but we have plenty of other young men that are excited to step into some of those roles and kind of take over that torch," Bedford head coach Kevin Steele said.
Gabe Taylor and Andrew Evans are two players that are expected to help replace Swaim's production. A successful season for the Bisons comes down to seeing growth.
