GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Bob Sullivan, 95, is a West Michigan legend when it comes to baseball. The longtime owner of Sullivan's Carpet and Furniture is also the former owner of the Grand Rapids Sullivans baseball team. As a former Detroit Tigers scout, he's responsible for sending 60 players and four managers to Major League Baseball. And on top of that, he's a member of seven different halls of fame. A historic field on the west side of Grand Rapids bears his name.
