UPHAM, ND (KXNET) — A new public charity has been supporting the ones who keep the community safe.

Upham Fire Supporters, Inc. is now a public charity. They say they're committed to financially and educationally supporting the Upham Fire Protection District through fundraising efforts.

"So we created the Upham Fire Supporters to help assist the fire department in providing safety equipment, training, and just overall support," President Brady Podoll said.

Through fundraising efforts, safety initiatives, and public outreach, the organization is helping protect both the volunteers who serve and the community they protect.
