POCAHONTAS COUNTY, Iowa (KCAU) — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pocahontas, Iowa, on Thursday.

Officials said the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office received several 911 calls about a head-on collision at the 60,000 block of 220th Avenue and Iowa State Highway 4.

Authorities said they found one of the drivers dead and trapped in their vehicle. Law enforcement said the other driver sustained minor injuries.
