PALESTINE, Texas (KETK)-- Before the new year begins on Monday, Palestine ISD students had the chance on Thursday to meet their new teachers and organize their lockers.
Palestine High School Principal Joseph Mason emphasized how excited he is for the new school year to begin and to see the students again."I'm their biggest cheerleader, " Mason said. " I'm excited to see students return. I love just interacting with students."
The district is excited to introduce a new food truck service, staffed by their very own students. The trucks will serve food at Palestine ISD sporting competitions and various events throughout the school year.
