Vice President J.D. Vance’s team didn’t exactly part the waters, but they raised them so he and his family could enjoy a kayaking trip in Ohio to celebrate Vance’s 41st birthday.
The Secret Service ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to change the outflow of an Ohio lake to “support the safe navigation” of the security detail on the Little Miami River during the excursion earlier this month.
The Guardian reported that Vance was spotted paddling on the river, which is fed by Caesar Creek Lake.
