ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — A St. Simons Island man has been charged with eight counts of sexual exploitation of children, officials announced Thursday.
After an investigation involving Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC), the Glynn County Police Department’s (GCPD) Criminal Investigations Division obtained a search warrant for Lucas Pigge's St. Simon's residence.
During the search, officials found and seized "multiple electronic devices suspected of being used in the possession and distribution of child sexual exploitation material," a spokesperson said. Drugs and drug paraphernalia was also reportedly found.
Pigge was arrested and booked on drug charges Aug. 5. He bonded out of the Glynn County Detention Center shortly after, a GCPD spokesperson said.
