KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The Killeen Fire Department rescued a 14-year-old dog named Cooper who was stuck under a shed on Thursday.

“Thankfully, our Engine 5 crew of firefighters came to the rescue. With patience and care, they were able to safely free Cooper and reunite him with his very relieved family,” the city said.

The city said that sometimes it’s the small rescues, like this one, that remind them why they do what they do.
