JEFFERSON, TX (KTAL/KMSS) — The Jefferson Bulldogs are in year two under head coach Ty Taylor, and after going 12-1 and making the third round of playoffs in that first year, expectations are high

"I’m excited to just play, I’m ready to play," senior Aaron Bellard said.

After a successful campaign last season, each of the Jefferson Bulldogs are looking forward to getting back out on the field.

"We all got a taste of success and what can happen when we buy in, but I think the kids and coaches are really hungry to take that next step as a program," Taylor said. "We aren’t satisfied by any means of what happened last year. That was last year, that’s ancient history as far as we’re concerned."
