MAGNOLIA, AR (KTAL/KMSS) – It's year two under Adam Kirby at Magnolia High School. The Panthers have undergone a lot of changes, but perhaps the biggest change is the love felt in the building.
"Makes you actually wanna come to practice and joke around and like, play with them. It's not miserable out here," senior Carmelo McDonald said.
The culture created off the field has surprised some of the players.
"It's been something serious because I didn't really hang out with some of these people before we played football, I didn't even really speak to them," senior Kaleb Roach said.
The Magnolia football program has become a safe space for student athletes, being a place that they can create relationships with their peers and coaches.
