SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A 20-hour live jazz radio show is underway to celebrate 20 years of music in the Pioneer Valley.

The marathon broadcast is hosted by Jack Frisch, a volunteer DJ at Valley Free Radio. Frisch, who regularly hosts 'The Downbeat' on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. on 103.3 FM.

The special 20-hour broadcast is set to continue until 3 AM tomorrow, providing listeners with an extended celebration of jazz music. "I love the music and I know the players. I know how hard they work to put out a CD or what they have to do to perform," said Jack Frisch, the volunteer DJ behind the marathon broadcast.

Until 3:00 am Friday, listeners can exclusively tune in here for the 20-hour jazz show.
