CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Harrison County Chamber of Commerce brought together business leaders, elected officials, and community members Thursday in downtown Clarksburg to mark a milestone, the 20th anniversary of Hero’s Haven Child Advocacy Center.

The event, which was held at the center’s Clarksburg location, celebrated two decades of critical work supporting the most vulnerable members of our community, children impacted by abuse.

Since opening its doors, Hero’s Haven has provided a child-focused, trauma-informed environment where multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, child protection, medical and mental health professionals collaborate under one roof.
