MEMPHIS, Tenn. — State prosecutors will be seeking the death penalty against Austin Drummond, the alleged suspect in the Lake County quadruple homicide.

District Attorney Danny Goodman told Lake County Judge Andrew Cook that the state intends to seek the death penalty in the case. Drummond was also refused a bond in the case during his Thursday arraignment.

The state also requested a restraining order for the victims' families.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation officials previously said they obtained warrants for 28-year-old Austin Robert Drummond, charging him with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
