HENDERSON, KY. (WFIE) - Across the river, our Kentucky schools also kick things off, in just a couple weeks, and at Henderson County, the Colonels will have a new look, on the sideline.

Former head coach Josh Boston is gone, and in his place, is a very familiar face: new head coach, John Elliott. This is Elliott’s third stint at Henderson County.

He served as an assistant coach, and then defensive coordinator, in two separate runs at Hendo, and then back in March, he was hired to lead the Colonels. He brings with him, 48 years of coaching experience, and he’s happy to be back in Henderson.

One of the bigger things, that Coach Elliott is trying to instill, is doing things the right way.
