EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Our train bound for football season makes a stop tonight at North Posey, as we continue to preview our local high school teams all across the Tri-State.

For the Vikings, it’ll be a young group taking the field this year, with top playmaker Jed Galvin graduating, this team looks completely different from the North Posey squad that finished as state runner-up in 2023. But that doesn’t mean there’s going to be a drop off. After last seasons early exit, Head Coach Waylon Schenk says leaders are stepping up where they need to, and the team is bought in. Now, they’ve just got to set a standard on the field.
