VALENTINE, N.E. (Dakota News Now) - Hole #12 on our Dream 18 is hole #13 at The Dunes course at The Prairie Club in Valentine, Nebraska.

Loudan Steffes joined me here, and I’ve got so many favorite holes on this course. I’m not sure how we ended up on this one, other than the fact that when you stand on the tee box, it might be the prettiest view on this course.

“Yeah, the tee shot here is just incredible. The bunkering is so good. So you stand up here and just get a great view of the vastness of the property and seeing the great bunkering that they did here,” Loudan said.

So how do you play this hole? Because those bunkers are pretty, but I’ve stood up here every time I’ve come here and thought, where do I aim?

“My line is I like to split the middle of the bun ker complexes out there.
