HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The UNK Lopers finished their first week of fall camp on Thursday.

Coach Ryan Held is entering his third year at the helm. After improving from two wins to five last year, the team is looking to improve to their first winning season in the Held era.

“Everybody really knows what to do. I just want to come out here and see who can drain the battery and figure out what role they’re going to play,” said Held. “So far, I like the effort, we have a good leadership group, and we’re taking care of each other on the football field. We have to continue to do that.”

The Lopers will open the year up against Wayne State on Thursday, August 28 at 6 p.m.
