2 men convicted of Philadelphia crime spree that included violent kidnappings

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two men were convicted of a brutal crime spree, including a pair of violent kidnappings in Philadelphia.

In one of the crimes, Christopher Burton and Khalil Jackson-Fletcher held a family of five captive for days in Northeast Philadelphia in February 2022.

They tortured the family, even choking an infant as they demanded money.

They eventually let the family go, but were charged more than a year later.
