A full policing plan is in place ahead of a planned protest in Nuneaton town centre. That is according to Assistant Chief Constable Claire Armes who issued a statement about the planned protest activity in Nuneaton tomorrow (August 9).
There is a planned demonstration outside of the Town Hall in the town centre tomorrow afternoon. CoventryLive has been told that there are no pre-planned road closures in the area.
The assistant chief constable said that officers have been out talking with locals and businesses. She was keen to assure them and the wider community about how they intend to police the event.
“We understand people are concerned and they've been asking lots of questions around planned protest activity in the county later this week," she said.
“We police without fear or fa
