OAK HARBOR, Wash. — A Washington woman charged with murder in a fatal stabbing in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood was previously convicted in a high-profile crash that killed three people nearly 15 years ago.
Jordyn Weichert, 35, is being held on $5 million bail following the July 14 stabbing of 55-year-old Ramon Aragon-Garcia . Prosecutors have charged her with second-degree murder. If convicted, she could face life in prison.
Weichert's criminal history dates back to 2011, when she was sentenced to eight years in prison for a deadly collision in Oak Harbor, Island County. Investigators said she lost control of her car and crashed into an oncoming station wagon on Highway 20.
