BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Construction of the Military Gallery expansion is officially underway at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck.

The State Historical Society says this addition will span 70,000 square feet, and will include the gallery, as well as an amphitheater and infrastructure enhancements.

“We are grateful for the public’s patience and support during this transformative time,” Bill Peterson, State Historical Society director, said in a press release. “This will help fulfill the Military Gallery’s mission to honor, educate and inspire the public.”
