OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Friends and family of a DJ from Ocala who died in a car crash are getting ready to honor his life.

A celebration of life for Larry Whitler is scheduled for Saturday, August 16 at Roberts Funeral Home.

A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. that day, followed by a service from 11 to noon.

Whitler was killed in a crash on State Road 200 on July 17.

His friend and longtime co-host Robin Mablane is going through physical therapy after the crash, according to friends and family on Facebook.
