An 84-year-old man has died after being struck by a car while using a mobility scooter in Airdrie .
Emergency services were called to Gartlea Road at around 4.50pm on Friday, August 1, following the crash, which also involved a silver Vauxhall Mokka.
The man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital , where he sadly died in the early hours of Thursday, August 7. There were no further injuries.
Police are investigating the full circumstances of the crash and are appealing for anyone who witnessed it to come forward.
