GRAND FORKS — A storm that came with a tornado warning pushed through Greater Grand Forks early Friday morning.
The tornado warning was issued at approximately 4:15 a.m. as the front hit Grand Forks with heavy rains and high winds.
The tornado warning sirens were heard sounding at 4:20 a.m.
"As this line works its way in, sometimes that leading edge gets some rotation," WDAY meteorologist Lydia Blume said during a live broadcast at approximately 4:15.
The line of storms essentially stretched entirely across the state, from the Canada border to the South Dakota border.
