A man who “sauntered” out of a Peterborough store with a pizza oven on his shoulder has been jailed. Neal Jones, 33, was sentenced on Wednesday, August 6 to one year and two months in prison, after pleading guilty to one count of burglary and three counts of theft from a shop.

Jones, from Eye, Peterborough , was captured on CCTV stealing many items from different shops across Peterborough throughout July. Alongside the pizza oven, he stole £200-worth of Lego.

Recorded on CCTV on July 21, Jones was prevented from stealing a set of power tools from a Peterborough store by a security guard.
