PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) – A man is accused of breaking into a woman’s home and sexually assaulting her in Paterson back in March, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors said 27-year-old Jesus Mora Cruz allegedly held a knife to the victim’s neck as she slept during the home invasion on March 26. When she woke up, Mora Cruz was accused of sexually assaulting and attacking her, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors said he allegedly stole items from the home before fleeing. The woman was taken to a local hospital for stab wounds, according to prosecutors.
