PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) -- A boil water advisory was issued for the City of Paterson on Friday after a water main break near Hinchcliffe Stadium, according to city officials.

All residents and businesses are advised to boil water before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth and washing dishes. If boiling is not possible, residents are told to use bottled water instead.
