An Edinburgh man who was hiking in Morocco has 'vanished', with an urgent search launched to trace him.

Adam Jordanowski, 54, hasn't been seen or heard from since July 30. He was reported missing from the city of Chefchaouen, reports the Daily Record .

Since then, his family have launched a desperate plea for help. Adam travelled from Edinburgh to Malaga on July 25, before heading on to Tangier Med before arriving in Chefchaouen.

He planned to return to Scotland on Sunday, July 31 with a stopover in Barcelona. He checked in for the homebound flight to Edinburgh, however, it is feared Adam likely never left Morocco.
