COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - While almost all of us end the workweek on a dry note, a gradual increase in tropical moisture from the Atlantic means our rain chances start to go up over the weekend and early next week.

More clouds than sun most of the sun on this Friday. There will be some moments that will be sunnier than others. It will be a tad breezy. There is only a slight chance of a shower, mainly near Thomaston and Butler. Highs in the low to mid 80s, which is well below the average high of 93 degrees.
