MYRTLE BEACH — “Outer Banks” is coming back to the Myrtle Beach area.

After filming at the Socastee Swing Bridge was cut short last month because of a summer storm, the Netflix show’s crews and the S.C. Department of Transportation agreed to return on Aug. 14, SCDOT spokesperson Kelly Moore confirmed.

The show, which is shooting its fifth season, will film in the same location. The bridge and a section of Dick Pond Road between Waterway Lane and Peachtree Road will be closed from 10 a.m. to around 8 p.m., according to Matt Storm, the South Carolina Film Commission’s office manager.
