HARLEYVILLE — The Dorchester County Coroner's Office is seeking help identifying a man whose body was wrapped in cloth and duct tape and found in a ditch Aug. 3.
The Dorchester Sheriff’s Office released two forensic drawings of the unidentified Black man created by sketch artists at the State Law Enforcement Division. The man is believed to be between 18 and 25 years old, about 6’1” and 190 pounds, according to a news release. It remains unclear how long the man had been dead.
The two sketches differ in the condition of the man’s front teeth. His body was found with a broken front tooth, said Steven Wright, spokesman for the sheriff’s office. Wright said the body decomposition did not play a role in the need for the sketches. Wright said fingerprints, DNA and other scans did not help
