Back to School Brighter event to offer free haircuts, school supplies for Springfield students

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield students will have the opportunity to start the upcoming school year feeling prepared and confident.

The Back to School Brighter Initiative is partnering with Third Baptist Church to host the 10th annual Back to School Brighter event on Aug. 20. The church is located at 149 Walnut St.
