A Brighton man was ordered held without bail Thursday in connection with the non-fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Boston last week, police said.

Isaac Gonzalez, 19, of Brighton, was arrested at an address on Jan Karski Way in Dorchester at approximately 10:15 a.m.

Police said the shooting happened around 7 p.m. on July 30 near the Mission Park apartments on Huntington Avenue. The 15-year-old was found with a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening; he was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

According to a preliminary investigation, detectives determined the shooting had taken place nearby and identified Gonzalez as the suspect, police said.
