OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - One person has been taken into custody following a homicide Thursday night, police say.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to an apartment complex near NW 50th St. and May Ave. twice on Thursday. When officers responded the second time around 7:30 p.m., it was regarding a disturbance where they found one person dead.
Investigators believe a fight broke out and led to the incident. It is unclear if the person of interest and victim knew each other.
"At the time right now, I do not think that they know each other," said Officer Denisha Lambeth with OKCPD . "They're still trying to gather information."
No more information is available as the investigation continues.
