JAMESTOWN — Brandi Harty had a once-in-a-career type year last fall.

"Let's be real, the season the boys had last year was nearly perfect," said Harty, the head coach of the Jamestown High School boys soccer team. "That was one of those historic-type teams that you don't see very often across the state. It is just something that doesn't always happen."

The Jays finished out their conference schedule at 16-0-0. The last team to go undefeated in the WDA was St. Mary's in 2003. The Saints were 10-0. Jamestown is the first team in WDA history to win 16 consecutive games. Over the 19 games played, the Blue Jays outscored their opponents 87-14. The Jays only allowed goals in 10 of their games and only allowed more than one goal on three occasions. The team finished the year at 18-1-0.
