Two disturbances remain far from land in the Atlantic Ocean Friday morning and do not pose an immediate threat to Louisiana or Southeast states, forecasters with the National Hurricane Center said.
Dexter , the fourth named tropical storm in the Atlantic during the 2025 hurricane season, also became post-tropical Thursday morning and is no longer being tracked by NHC forecasters.

A tropical wave is producing minimal showers in the central tropical Atlantic as of 7 a.m. Friday, NHC forecasters said.
The system is unlikely to develop over the weekend as it is surrounded by dry air, but conditions will be better for strengthening next week
