BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, are in custody as part of an ongoing investigation into a string of vehicle burglaries in Walker.
According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO), multiple burglaries occurred between Monday, Aug. 4, and Thursday, Aug. 7, near Ball Park Road and in the Meadow Crossing Subdivision. Investigators believe the incidents happened late at night or in the early morning hours.
As the investigation progressed, detectives identified the two teens as suspects. Search warrants were obtained for the homes where they were staying, leading to the discovery of a gun on each juvenile and “items belonging to several of the victims,” Sheriff Jason Ard said.
