WINDSOR, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - A 98-year-old volunteer in the town of Windsor keeps offering her time with pride.

The Windsor Library managed by the Windsor Civic Club and Windsor band concerts is celebrating Janice Springsteen. For just about 75 years, Springsteen has been offering her time to contribute to the library. She says she has enjoyed every moment.

Although the Village of Windsor has changed drastically since the 1950's, Springsteen says that her fellow volunteers have remained a constant joy.

"I love all of them, yes. They're my children. I'm practically old enough to be their mother or grandmother," says Springsteen.

Her fellow volunteers say that Springsteen is a light at the library and is one of the best shoppers when it comes to buying new books at Barnes and Noble.
