TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Friday morning court hearing in the Donna Adelson case is scheduled to be the last until jury selection begins in her trial later this month.

Adelson is scheduled to appear Friday morning for a pretrial conference.

Her lawyers previously argued for a change of venue in the case, but the Leon County judge overseeing that trial ruled that it is “too soon to determine whether a change of venue is justified” for her trial, according to recent court records.

Court records previously obtained by WCTV revealed that although Judge Stephen Everett ruled it’s too soon to determine whether a change of venue is necessary , Donna Adelson can renew the motion “following an attempt to actually select the jury” for her trial.
