WARREN A recent string of violence in Warren over the weekend has claimed another life.

A source with the Warren Police Department tells 21 News 34-year-old Choice Washington has died of his injuries from a shooting in Warren on Sunday.

According to a police report, the shooting happened on the 300 Block of Scott Street just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, August 3. Washington suffered a gunshot wound to the forehead according to the report.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

This is the second fatality in connection with the recent string of violence in Warren over the weekend. 31-year-old David Lee Owens III was also killed just hours later around 5:30 a.m. Sunday at the Convenient Food Mart on Elm Road.
