After a warm Friday, warmer and muggier days are ahead for the weekend and the second week of August.
Saturday and Sunday will be hot, and both days feature a good deal of sunshine. High temperatures on Saturday jump to the upper 80s, and we could pick up our 11th 90-degree day of 2025 on Sunday. Expect humidity levels to creep up on Sunday, too.
The second week of August will be hot and humid, with little respite from the heat.
Monday and Tuesday could easily reach the low 90s, potentially stringing together our third heat wave of 2025.
We will remain dry on Monday and Tuesday, but showers and thunderstorms will work back into the area starting on Wednesday. Wet weather is looking to be highest in coverage on Thursday, with a pop-up shower or thunderstorm possible on Friday.
