DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - It is August and the summer heat and humidity will be sticking around across Central Illinois for the next week or two.

Highs today through the weekend will reach the low-to-mid-90s, but it'll feel like 95°-105° with the higher humidity.

It'll be dry today and tomorrow.

Shower and storm chances return late Saturday night and we'll see a daily chance into next week. There will be dry hours each day, but any shower or storm could bring heavy downpours.

Highs next week will stay in the upper-80s to around 90°.
