SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - It’s a typical August pattern across the ArkLaTex over the next week with plenty of heat and humidity for everyone and not much hope for rain.
For tonight, we’ll see a clear sky and temperatures falling into the mid 70s.
More of the same on Friday with sunshine and hot temperatures. Highs will continue to be in the upper 90s with a few spots pushing 100. Humidity will be higher resulting in feels like temperatures topping 105 in some areas.
Looking ahead, this pattern appears to be locked in place with more hot and dry days likely through the weekend and even into next week.
We are also keeping a close eye on the tropics as conditions could become more favorable for development heading into mid-August.
Have a great night!
